An IV route does not turn every ingredient into a longevity treatment.

Intravenous therapy can deliver fluids or selected compounds directly into circulation. The useful question is not whether something is given by IV, but whether the exact ingredient, dose and objective make medical sense.

The short explanation

What it is - and what it is not.

IV therapy is a route of administration, not a single treatment. Hydration, medically indicated replacement and elective wellness infusions have very different evidence positions. Multi-ingredient drips should be evaluated ingredient by ingredient.

01

Begin with the purpose

A documented deficiency, hydration requirement, supportive medical use and general wellness objective are not equivalent. The rationale should be explicit.

02

Every ingredient matters

Identity, dose, compatibility, kidney function, medications and medical history can change the risk-benefit discussion. More ingredients do not automatically create a better infusion.

03

Where it fits

IV therapies generally sit at Level 2 and are widely available. ImagineHealth may coordinate selected protocols as part of a broader programme, but they are rarely a reason to travel alone.

Important boundary

IV therapy still involves a medical procedure.

Potential risks include infection, vein injury, fluid or electrolyte problems, allergic reactions and ingredient-specific adverse effects. Treatment should follow appropriate screening, preparation and monitoring.

The appropriate next step

Ask what is in the infusion, why it is included and how it is monitored.

ImagineHealth can explain availability, indicative pricing and the route to an appropriate provider and physician review.
