Local treatment requires precision
The injection is part of the treatment quality.
Good cells cannot compensate for an unsuitable target or inaccurate administration. All local injections are performed by an experienced orthopedic surgeon.
Structure-specific treatment
The physician determines which joint or soft-tissue structures should be addressed based on the diagnosis and imaging.
Fluoroscopic guidance
Real-time X-ray guidance helps the orthopedic surgeon position the injection accurately within deep or anatomically complex treatment areas.
Medical planning and monitoring
The route, injection points, dose, procedure and clinical setting form one treatment pathway - not separate purchasing decisions.
"Back pain" is a symptom - not an injection point.Facet joints, discs, nerves, sacroiliac joints and other structures can produce different pain patterns. The first task is identifying whether there is an appropriate target.
Most local protocols
MSCs and PRP: two regenerative components.
They are biologically different. In most local treatment protocols facilitated by ImagineHealth, the orthopedic surgeon combines them within the same treatment plan.
Mesenchymal stromal cells
MSCs are studied for their biological signalling, immunomodulatory characteristics and potential role within regenerative treatment.
Platelet-rich plasma
PRP contains concentrated platelets and signalling factors. It is regenerative medicine, but it is not a stem-cell treatment.
The decision to combine MSCs and PRP - and the quantities used - belongs to the treating physician's individualized protocol. More additions do not automatically mean a better treatment.

Do I need an MRI before contacting ImagineHealth?+
You can begin the conversation without one, but recent MRI images are normally required before the orthopedic surgeon can determine suitability, injection points and an individualized treatment proposal.
Is the written MRI report sufficient?+
The report is useful, but the orthopedic surgeon will usually need the actual MRI image files to assess the anatomy and plan a targeted procedure.
Why are stem cells combined with PRP?+
They are different regenerative components. In most local protocols facilitated by ImagineHealth, the treating orthopedic surgeon combines PRP with MSCs as part of the treatment plan.
Who performs the injections?+
All local injections are performed by an experienced orthopedic surgeon. Hip, back and spine-related injections are performed using fluoroscopic guidance.
Can stem cells regrow all lost cartilage?+
No such outcome should be promised. The discussion should focus on the diagnosis, remaining structure, evidence and realistic objectives such as pain, function and mobility.
How many cells will I need?+
The proposed quantity depends on the treatment area, severity, number of injection points and physician assessment. More cells are not automatically a better protocol.
